Went to Marin JC for year and a half. Then transferred to Chico State, BS in Home Economics. Worked in Management training program at Capwell's (store closed years ago) Then worked in outside sales for Moore Business Forms. stayed home for 9 years after having son. Went back to school for teaching Credential and few years later went to SJ State for Resource Specialist Credential. While teaching, retuned to school for Masters in Leadershiop. Still teaching currently and plan to work for 2 more years.
Met ahusband at Chico and married for 21 years to Doug Barker from Davis. Divorced since 1999 and haven't married since. One long relationship for 11 years but no binding ties-person died year after relationship ended some 8 years ago. Now have a low key socilal life-just a few close friends and some family get-togethers.

I remember my Spanish teacher, Mr Wilkerson, would kick the student's desk if he saw their head down on the desk. One day I guess I didn't realize my head was on my desk and he kicked his foot hard under my metal desk ...OMG-it really hurt!! Today that would amount to abuse probably!

Another time in my English class, I tried to be funny and the teacher got quietly annoyed and walked out of the class----she came back shortly, but I really liked this teacher and felt pretty bad about the situation. I can't remember if I apologized to her...?
