After graduation I entered active duty in the Navy. After 6 years service I had several jobs including mill worker in Red Bluff, CA. I started working for the Federal Government (Dept. of Defense) while living in Red Bluff. I was transferred to North Bend, Oregon. While there I was promoted and sent to Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho. I worked for the government for a total of 22 years then moved back to Oregon. I started working as a maintenance man for First Baptist Church of Eugene in 1988 and worked there for 17 years until I retired in 2005. Since then my wife and I have traveled to 37 states in the U.S. & several provinces in Canada and also to Mexico. My hobbies are mostly Photography, fishing and for 17 years, Civil War reenacting. I now live in Springfield, Oregon-The real Home of 'The Simpsons'.
