Nick is survived by his father Harry Martigopoulos, his wife Mary Manos Martigopoulos, and his children Nicholas, John and Olivia. He is predeceased by his mother Constance.
Nick was born in San Francisco on April 5, 1955 to Harry and Constance Martigopoulos. He graduated from Chico State with a degree in business, and worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 38 years. He was a resident of Concord, California.
In 1981 he married his college sweetheart, Mary. They have three beautiful children who were a constant source of pride for him. Together he and Mary shared a wonderful life full of love and laughter.
Nick was a devoted father and husband. He enjoyed hiking, and spent many weekends at the coast exploring trails with Mary and his children. He enjoyed fishing, sailing, target practice, reading, swimming, John Wayne movies, and really bad Science Fiction. No one made Nick laugh harder than Nick himself, especially at his corny jokes. He was also a problem-solver who often took on difficult projects at work and around the house. He was a mentor to all who needed guidance. He was so proud of his big fat Greek family and was never happier than when he was surrounded by all of them. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
