What have you been up to since you graduated from Redwood?

Studied International Relations and Russian at UC Davis. Moved to Washington, DC, after graduation to work in international affairs, but ended up working on staff of a member of the House of Representatives. Switched to teaching and taught high school in Northern Virginia for two years. Missed CA so, with my generous wife's support, we moved back west (though farther south than I'd hoped.) I've taught at Carlsbad High School in San Diego County from 1988 until 2025 and loved the experience. (Coached cross country for eight years, but quit to coach my five kids in their various sports until they were too old.)
School Story:

Pretty nerdly at Redwood, though the Russian Scrabble, ping-pong, and dart clubs were a fun time!
