Wow! Heather. I'm just learning this. Memories. Her sister, CeCe & I were good friends for a long time. I'm stunned.
I didn't know Charlie as a teacher, but as a neighbor for awhile. They lived in Heather Gardens at the time. Sean & my brother were in the same grade. Charlie would have movie nights at their house. I think that all of neighborhood kids were sad to see them move. He was a nice guy.
Laura went to LCM before her family moved to Kentfield, and we reconnected in 10th grade. She and I had a math class, and I was told that I could skip the final if I tutored Laura during class so that she could pass, and she did. I still think of her when going across the GG Bridge.
I had Mr. Neylon for one semester as a freshman, and I just remember him as being nice, approachable, and helpful.
One of my two favorite teachers! (The other being John Thompson). Three semesters in a row....Survival for Singles 2, Survival for Singles 1 and then Human Sexuality. I still remember the first day of HS.
Broemmer, the perfect circle.
I remember when Mark's family moved to Larkspur from the UK; Mark went to LCM for 6th grade when the moved to Larkspur. I remember him being very pale, a little round, quiet and a bit of an accent. Then to transform into a rower at Redwood. Mark was alway just a really, really nice guy! The last time that I saw him was at a New Year's Eve party in Kent Woodlands just a few months before he died. And the time before that was at the exact same house on NYE the year before. He was smart, kind and a really good guy.
Mr. Feeney...Heather Gardens was never the same after you moved! Missed those movie nights!
