I went to College of Marin for 2 years then to San Jose State where I majored in art and music and minored in economics. I taught primary grades for 40 years in Santa Rosa and for UC Berkeley in the summer for 28 years. Since I have retired I traveled, done some volunteer work, taken care of elderly parents and, when I can, work in my art studio in San Rafael where I am a print maker, watercolorist and sculptor among other interests.

In my spare time I like to read, work in the garden, fly fish, hike, and hang by the river.
